This was an amazing experience. Picture the melting pot, but instead of fondue, you are cooking your own meat. A group of friends and I went and I will most likely be back even though it was a bit pricey. When we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and we were sat down almost immediately. When we sat down, the waiter came and explained the concept of the restaurant to us and told us their special.
We ordered 4 different meats: steak, chicken, pork, and squid. The steak and pork was amazing however, we accidentally let the pork stay too long on the grill. The chicken was a bit stressful to cook as we were all teenagers and none of us really know how to cook. It was an interesting experience but it was good. However, I do think there needs to be more lighting at the location because it was a bit hard to tell if the food was properly cooked. I suggest if you want to eat here, take someone who knows how to cook with you so they can do the cooking and you aren't at fault if something is underdone.

This restaurant was not exactly what I was expecting it to be. When I walked in, I was greeted with a heart warming smile and was told to sit anywhere I want. The waitress came around and asked what we wanted to drink and if we were interested in eating from the buffet or if we wanted the menu. We decided to eat from the buffet as it was full of country food.
The food was your stereotypical country food. It had all of the classics like meatloaf and fried chicken with mashed potatoes or collard greens. Some of the food was better than other parts, but overall it was really interesting. The sweet tea was delightful as the waitress came around and gave us a pitcher full of sweet tea. If you are interested in experiencing country food buffet style, this is your place to go. I am not sure if I will go back, but it was a great experience as it was my first time going to a place like that. |
