As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by staff members as you walk up to the counter to order your food. I ordered a turkey burger just to try something new. The food is really good, but it takes a long time for the food to come out. If you want french fries, you have to pay extra for it but everything there is really good. Even though the food is good, it is crazy expensive and is not worth the money.

This was my first time here and it was amazing. As soon as you walk in, the staff are super friendly and the food came out quickly. You walk up to the counter and you order your food there. Once you are done ordering, the cashier will give you a number, you sit down, and they will bring the food out to you.
It was slightly pricey, but it could have been worse. I ordered a turkey avocado sandwich with a side of mac and cheese and it was really good. You can tell they make the mac and cheese there because of how warm and gooey the cheese is. I would recommend this place if you are in the mood for a sandwich or if you are in a rush. The restaurant is half sit down half to go and is overall very fast paced. After school, my friend and I went to The Ripe Juicery which is a food truck found in Acworth that sells organic and fresh smoothies and yogurt bowls. The little area is incredibly adorable and has chairs and recycles tables set up for customers to enjoy their smoothies or bowls with nature.
I ordered the Tensing Pen which is a pineapple smoothie that reminds you of the beach when you take a sip. The smoothies come in a 16 oz cup that is full to the top, however the items there are on the pricey side. The smoothies also take a while to be made since they are making everything from scratch. Even though The Ripe Juicery has its flaws, I would encourage you to go and try a smoothie or two. This is my family's favorite Mexican restaurant to go and eat at. Every time we go here, we are greeted by the staff who have the brightest smiles on their faces. As soon as you walk in, you are sat down right away which is difficult for some places to accomplish.
Every time I go and eat here, I get the chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. Their chicken enchiladas are some of the best I have ever had. Generally when I go and eat out at Mexican restaurants, the sweet tea is too sweet and it hurts my stomach, but I have never had an issue here. The food comes out incredibly fast and is very high quality. I have never had a bad experience at Hidalgos Bar and Grill. Mellow Mushroom is one of the best places to get pizza in the Kennesaw/Acworth area. As soon as we walked in the door, we were greeted by the workers and seated incredibly fast. As soon we sat down, a waitress came quickly and took our order really quick. The food came out really fast and tasted amazing.
We ordered two pizzas, one was cheese and one was pepperoni. We also got an appetizer that has humus and pita chips. The pizza was perfect and was made to perfection. It was nice and warm and the cheese was goey and the pizza just melted in your mouth. I personally think that Mellow Mushroom has the best pizza and this location made that statement accurate. Zeigler's BBQ had amazing food as they make their own sauces and hand make everything else also. This was one of the best BBQ restaurant places that I have ever been to, especially since everything tasted fresh. I got the brisket platter with a side of french fries and baked beans. My uncle got the BBQ pork platter with a side of chili and coleslaw. For desert we got peach cobbler and banana pudding, but the desert did not meet to the high standards the actual meal had made.
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by everyone in the restaurant. Zeigler's BBQ had a home feeling as you walked in since the place is smaller than other restaurants. The place was decorated really nice and gave off country vibes. Personally I am not a big fan of Subway, but my family was hungry one day and so we stopped and ate here. When we walked in, we were greeted with hellos and we were not rushed to chose what we wanted on our sandwich.
I got a chicken breast sandwich with Italian herb and cheese bread with white American cheese with tomatoes. After not eating here for a few years, this sandwich was the perfect lunch. The cheese melts in your mouth as you eat it and the cookies are delicious. I highly suggest this Subway because the food was amazing and the restaurant was really clean. I have been to Taco Mac before, but I have not been to the one near North Cobb before. This version was different from the rest because as soon as we walked in, the hosts were a little rude to us. You could easily tell they did not want to be there, but we were seated fairly quick. The waitress we had, however, was extremely nice and helped us with any problems we had. She had a great personality and was really talkative.
The food was pretty decent as I had chicken wings. They were not too saucy, which is a good thing because I do not like getting messy. The side item I had was broccoli queso casserole which was only okay. It lacked flavor and tasted really bland. Overall, my experience at this Taco Mac was only okay and I will be back only on occasion. This was an amazing experience. Picture the melting pot, but instead of fondue, you are cooking your own meat. A group of friends and I went and I will most likely be back even though it was a bit pricey. When we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and we were sat down almost immediately. When we sat down, the waiter came and explained the concept of the restaurant to us and told us their special.
We ordered 4 different meats: steak, chicken, pork, and squid. The steak and pork was amazing however, we accidentally let the pork stay too long on the grill. The chicken was a bit stressful to cook as we were all teenagers and none of us really know how to cook. It was an interesting experience but it was good. However, I do think there needs to be more lighting at the location because it was a bit hard to tell if the food was properly cooked. I suggest if you want to eat here, take someone who knows how to cook with you so they can do the cooking and you aren't at fault if something is underdone. This restaurant was not exactly what I was expecting it to be. When I walked in, I was greeted with a heart warming smile and was told to sit anywhere I want. The waitress came around and asked what we wanted to drink and if we were interested in eating from the buffet or if we wanted the menu. We decided to eat from the buffet as it was full of country food.
The food was your stereotypical country food. It had all of the classics like meatloaf and fried chicken with mashed potatoes or collard greens. Some of the food was better than other parts, but overall it was really interesting. The sweet tea was delightful as the waitress came around and gave us a pitcher full of sweet tea. If you are interested in experiencing country food buffet style, this is your place to go. I am not sure if I will go back, but it was a great experience as it was my first time going to a place like that. |
